Online Fitness Classes Did you know many businesses, including some of our local favorites offering online classes now AND many of them are free, donation-based or discounted? Here is a list of some of our favorites:

There is no time like the present. As long as you are staying a safe distance from others, we encourage you to opt outside, soak up the vitamin D and strap on your shoes. The Couch to 5K program is free and is a great way to work up to being able to run a 5k race. Whether you are running or walking, moving your body daily will make all the difference. Body Weight Exercises
You don’t need anything but your body to do planks, pushups, squats, lunges and so on. The internet is full of awesome routines that you can follow to easily get in shape with the only equipment you need, YOURSELF! Whether you find the routine on Pinterest or Google or create your own, your body will thank you! Check out this collection of exercises for inspiration. The World Health Organization has also put together a list of exercises. Whatever you do, be sure to spend time standing every day in whatever way works best for you. Even cooking a healthy dinner is more active than binging your favorite Netflix show. **Reminder: This is an educational article that does not constitute medical advice and is intended for people in self-quarantine without any symptoms or diagnosis of respiratory illness.
